Skateboarding may be one of the most physically demanding sports; however, most major sportswear companies’ merchandise can only outfit skaters not gear them. Introducing Oliboard by Adidas—a foldable skateboard, perfect for urban settings and the solution to a missed market share opportunity. This 2018 competition pitch drew specific design inspiration from the intended 2020 Tokyo Olympic Game’s location. Japanese pop art was a huge influence in the creation of these specially curated pieces.
